WEDDING RECEPTION SERVICES BREAKDOWN (Estimated Time Allotted for Planning, Performance and Related Services) Initial Consultation: 0.5 to 2 Hours Our first face-to-face meeting. (This is where we talk about what you need, what you’re looking for, and what we can provide for you) Site Appointment: 0.5 to 1 Hour Looking over your reception site and discussing the layout and sound support issues. (This is only necessary for locations which are new to me) Second Meeting: 1 to 2 Hours Our second face-to-face meeting, and first planning session. (This is where we begin planning the schedule of events for your reception, finalize your music interests and special requests, and explore some creative activities that will make your guests feel more involved and entertained.) Third Meeting: 1 to 2 Hours Our third face-to-face meeting. (This is where we wrap up any loose ends, finalize your reception schedule, and cover any new issues or points of interest, and begin coming up with a grand entrance script.) Music Research: 0.5 to 2 Hours Finding your special requests for the reception events and open dancing. (This includes tracking down unique requests through various sources. All necessary music will be purchased at no additional cost.) Creating Reception Itineraries: 2 Hours Typing up custom-made reception itineraries for your final approval. (This includes faxing, mailing or e-mailing your final agendas ahead of time to your other involved vendors.) Creating the Scripted Grand Entrance Script: 2 to 5 Hours Typing up and rehearsing your custom-made grand entrance script. (If desired, this can be delivered in advance for final approval on accuracy and appropriateness.) Creating Custom Back-Up CDs and Playlists: 1 to 2 Hours Burning custom-made CDs for all the music required for the special reception events. (This includes a Reception Events CD and playlist, and possible custom formatted background music CD’s.) Set-up at the Reception Location: 1.5 to 3 Hours Setting up all necessary equipment, testing it and changing into my formal attire. (This includes setting up the main DJ sound system in the reception area well before your first guest arrives.) Performance at the Reception: 4 to 6 Hours Performance of pre-recorded music, complete event direction services and master of ceremonies duties. (This includes all music required for the entire reception, full event coordination behind the scenes of all the important details that need to be double-checked in order to ensure that the reception flow smoothly and a professional spokesperson who will make all of the necessary announcements with the style and atmosphere that you want your guests to experience.) Pre-Loading, Driving, Un-Loading & Tear Down of Equipment: 2 to 4 Hours Total Service Hours Provided: 16 to 31 Hours
